cAN I CUSTOMIZE A wEDDING PACKAGE?

Yes! The three wedding packages start with what each one offers and can upgrade from there. You can add additional time ($175/hr) and add a second photographer ($75/hr) with a 4 hour minumum.

Can I add a second photographer?

Weddings and sessions only come with one photographer. You do have the option to add a second photographer though! Seconds are $75/hr with a 4 hour minimum.

Why should i have a second photographer?

Second photographers can be great when you have a larger wedding or want a large array of photos. The first photographers main focus is the Bride and Groom and Wedding Party. While the first photographer will get other detail shots, they can’t get everything at once. A second photographer can focus on your guests, other angles of the Bride and Groom, etc.

Do you charge for mileage?

Mileage fee’s are included inside the package until the location reaches over 150 miles, then there will be a .65/per mile fee added to the overall pricing.

How do we hire alexis ann photography?

To officially book Alexis Ann Photography you will fill out and send back Alexis’ official contract that will be sent via email and send the 50% retainer fee. Once those are complete you are ready to go!

What happens if the main photographer has an illness the day of the wedding and can’t make it?

No worries, I have that all under control! If the main photographer is sick or has an emergency, there will be an associate photographer taking charge. All of Alexis Ann Photography’s associates are full-time wedding photographers themselves. This group helps each other out with second shooting and emergency cases like this. Alexis 100% trusts her associates and will give them the complete rundown of the day so that they know everything that is happening. The associate photographer will give Alexis all the photos for her to edit after the wedding so that you receive Alexis’ editing style. There will be no refund or discount if this may occur.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

If the weather is making us unable to have a session, we can pick up the deposit and move it to a new date. If the weather starts to not cooperate while in the middle of the session, that does not fall on Alexis Ann Photography. During a wedding and other sessions, I bring clear umbrellas so that we are still able to shoot if necessary.

What if i need to postpone/cancel?

If you need to postpone due to emergency, illness, or COVID, that is 100% acceptable. I do not want you coming to a session if you think you are sick or if there is an emergency. If you want to cancel a session altogether, there is no refunds. You are able to pick up your deposit and move it to another session if you would like. If there is a cancellation of a wedding with a deposit already in place, that deposit can be used for other purposes.

How long will it take to recEIve my photos? hOW DO i RECEIVE THEM?

During the off season, photos are to be expected anywhere between two-four after session. During wedding season photos are to be expected anywhere between six-twelve weeks after session. Alexis Ann Photography will send sneak peek photos to wedding clients, but sneak peek edits might change slightly when the full album arrives. Photos will be sent on an online gallery which is easy to view and download!

dO YOU FOCUS ON CANDIDS OR FORMAL POSING?

Posing is something that Alexis Ann Photography discusses in calls/texts prior to wedding/session day. Everybody is different in what they are looking for/comfortable with. At a session we can do a mix of both candid and formal photos, there doesn’t have to be a limit to one.

dO YOU HAVE COPYRIGHT OF THE PHOTOS?

Yes, as your photographer, I keep the copyright to the photos to be able to use for social and business purposes. Alexis Ann Photography releases printing rights of the photos to the clients.

I want my session to be at a specific location but it requires a permit, what do i do?

Alexis Ann Photography is not in charge for paying for any photo permits that a location may have. The client must pay Alexis Ann Photography to get the expected permit(s). Alexis Ann Photography is not liable if the session must be cancelled due to not getting expected permit(s) if needed.
